About Helen

Helen Chen, Ph.D., is a biotech founder, scientist, and advisor with more than fifteen years of experience across drug discovery, translational strategy, entrepreneurship, and company leadership.

She is the Co-Founder and CEO of Alixia, a biotechnology company developing first-in-class therapeutics for cancer and age-related disease. Her broader work spans scientific advisory, founder mentoring, international education, and interdisciplinary programs connecting biology with culture and human experience.

An award-winning scientist and pianist, Helen received her B.S. in Molecular Biochemistry & Biophysics from Yale University and her Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of California, San Diego.
